Dave Black is a man of many abilities: seminary professor, equestrian, New Testament scholar, surfer, farmer, portrait artist, missionary. Many know him best as the writer of Dave Black Online, the very popular website where he regularly posts his essays and updates a weblog. But our conversation focused on the work that he and his wife Becky Lynn and son Nathan are doing to establish Rosewood Farm, a 120-acre working farm and retreat center in south central Virginia, and some of the lessons they have learned from the work.
