Jerome
Lange is one of Kentucky's leading practitioners of organic gardening
and farming. He has closely followed and adapted the approach pioneered
by his hero Eliot
Coleman, a "plant-positive" approach to horticulture that surpasses
chemical-dependent agriculture in every way—producing vegetables
that are exceptionally nutritious, delicious, and healthy.
Jerome plans to write four books on what he's learned about organic gardening, collectively called Remembering the Fish. The first volume in the series, The Seven Keys, was published in July 2006. The second volume, Organizing the INGs, was published in December 2007.
